I was born on March 22, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana. My mother is Catholic and my dad is Baptist. We stayed in New Orleans about 4 years. We moved to Virginia and stayed there for about 1 year. We then moved to Dallas and stayed there for about 1 year. We then moved to McKinney, Texas in 1962. I graduated from McKinney high school in 1974. I grew up in the Catholic Church. I heard about Jesus and the Ten Commandments. I heard that Jesus did miricles, but I saw no miricles happening. I was really unimpressed with the Catholic Church! I went to college to be a veterinarian. At the end of my junior year(1977) I met Doyle Davidson. He was a veterinarian at that time. I went to work for him that summer. The first time I was in the car with him, it only took 10 minutes for him to start talking about Jesus. He said he served Jesus. About 1 month later, I was eating my lunch at home and God started talking to me. It startled me. I told him "If I follow you, what would my friends think"? He said "What friends"? I knew he was right. This is where I was born again. I told Doyle that I had accepted what God wanted. Doyle said I needed to be baptized in water by immersion and be baptized in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in other tounges(languages). It took about 6 months for me to receive these 2 experiences. Getting toward the end of my senior year, I applied to enter veterinary school. I did not get chosen to enter vet. school. At that time I realized that it was not in my heart to be a veterinarian. I thank God for him showing me this. I knew it was right for me to go back home and work for my dad who is a land surveyor and engineer. I also knew I wanted to be around Doyle Davidson. I attended bible studies in Doyle's home from 1977 to 1980. I also attended seminars Doyle did on college campuses and other places. God told Doyle to speak to the people in Plano, Texas in 1980. He started Water of Life Ministries in 1980. I met my wife, Debbie at church in 1980. She had been married before, but her husband died and left her with a 1 month old son(Riley). We were married in 1981. In 1981, Doyle bought the facility we are now presently in. In 1982, I started a land surveying business. Debbie and I now have 5 children and live in Allen, Texas. I owe everything to God for what he has given us and what he has done in our spirit, body and soul. God requires us to obey him to receive his blessings. I also know it is the Gospel and the Spirit of God that works in the apostle/prophet Doyle Davidson that is a shield for us and produces the blessings we receive by the Spirit.
Praise God!
